MANILA, Philippines – Nasawi ang dalawang marinong Filipino sa security incident sa Strait of Hormuz, ayon sa Saudi Arabian shipping company nitong Miyerkules, Setyembre 2.
Ayon sa Bahri, isang shipping company, nasangkot sa security incident ang barko nitong SIDR habang tumatawid sa Strait of Hormuz noong Setyembre 1, 4:40 ng madaling araw.
“It is with profound sadness that Bahri confirms the loss of two of its Filipino seafarers as a result of the incident,” saad sa pahayag ng kompanya.
Nangako naman ng suporta ang Bahri sa pamilya at mga kasamahan ng mga apektado ng incident at makikipagtulungan sa mga awtoridad.
