Ito ang binigyang diin ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., sa kanyang talumpati sa 1ST SESSION ng BARMM PARLIAMENT sa Session Hall, Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex, Bangsamoro Government Center Compound, City of Cotabato, araw ng Biyernes, Oktubre 30.
Sinabi ng Pangulo na patuloy ang suporta ng national government sa rehiyon at palalawakin ang economic opportunities sa Mindanao.
“I reaffirm the National Government’s support for Bangsamoro autonomy and democratic institutions. We stand ready to work with the government formally constituted by this newly elected Parliament,” ayon sa Pangulo.
“To the people of the Bangsamoro: the National Government stands with you. Your success is the success of the country.Hinding-hindi namin kayo pababayaan,” ayon sa Pangulo.
Sa kabilang dako, hinikayat naman ng Pangulo ang mga miyembro ng parliament na maglingkod ng may kababaang-loob at huwag kalimutan ang mga paghihirap bago pa dumating sa puntong ito.
“To the Members of this Parliament: Never forget the struggle that people have endured. Serve with humility. Carry the hopes of many generations and honor their sacrifices through good governance,” ayon sa Pangulo.
Winika pa ng Pangulo na kailangang panindigan ng bagong koalisyon ang pagkakaisa, statesmanship, at kooperasyon para makapagtatag ng mas mapayapa at progresibong BARMM.
Binigyang diin ng Chief Executive na ang matatag na gobyerno ay nangangahulugan ng paggawa ng batas at paghahatid ng mga programa at serbisyo na tugon sa pangangailangan ng Bangsamoro people.
“It also means using public resources efficiently and transparently to create economic opportunities and strengthen regional development,” anito.
“Above all, it means ensuring that the dividends of peace are felt in the daily lives of every Bangsamoro family,” dagdag na pahayag ng Pangulo.
Sa kabilang dako, nagbigay-galang naman ang Pangulo sa mga pamilya na nagdusa at nawalan ng mahal sa buhay sa panahon ng kaguluhan.
“We also honor the leaders from every side of the table who listened to one another. Because their efforts paved the way for the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro, the Bangsamoro Organic Law, and the establishment of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority,” ang sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos.
“This day is a milestone in the peace process between the National Government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), marking the transition from armed struggle to peaceful democratic governance,” aniya pa rin.
Samantala, sinabi ng Pangulo na ang tagumpay ay nabibilang sa lahat ng sangkot, mula sa organisasyon ng political parties hanggang sa mapayapang pagsasagawa ng eleksyon hanggang ngayon. (KRIS JOSE)
