MANILA, Philippines- Kumpleto na ang lahat ng preperasyon para sa ikatlong State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa Hulyo 22, ayon kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Ayon kay Romualdez, ang huling inter-agency meeting ng lahat ng mga ahensya para sa SONA ay naisagawa na ngayong araw.
“The anticipation within the hallowed halls of this august chamber is palpable as we stand ready to hear and appreciate the accomplishments of the Marcos administration,” pahayag ni Romualdez.
“It fills me with immense pride to recognize the significant role that the House of Representatives has played in crafting legislation and policies that promote the welfare of all Filipinos. We are excited for the President’s SONA because we know he has many positive developments to share with the nation,” giit pa nito.
Sa tanong kung saan tututok ang SONA, sinabi ni Romualdez na tututok ito sa mga nagawa na ng administrasyon sa nakalipas na tatlong taon gayundin ang mga inilatag pang programa para sa susunod na 3 taon.
“The Sona will provide a comprehensive overview of the administration’s progress and set the stage for future legislative initiatives. And we, at the House of Representatives, are united with the President in his desire to advance the many reforms and programs he will announce during the Sona. This is a time for unity, and we fully support our President,” pahayag pa ni Romualdez.
Una nang sinabi ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco na ilan sa kanilang ginawang pagsasaayos ay ang paglalagay ng bintana at aircondition unit sa North at South lobby.
