MANILA, Philippines – Maghahain ng courtesy resignation si Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairperson Don Artes ngayong araw bilang tugon sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

“As MMDA chairman with the rank of Cabinet secretary, Chairman Artes will comply with the directive, as he serves at the pleasure of the president,” saad sa pahayag ng ahensya.

Department of Labor and Employment

Nitong Huwebes, Mayo 22, sinabi rin ni Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma na magpapasa siya ng resignation bilang pinuno ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

“As ordered and to afford the President a free hand, I will most respectfully comply,” pahayag ni Laguesma.

Kinilala rin ni Laguesma na “it is well within the plenary authority of the President to require that courtesy resignation be handed over by his Cabinet.”

Department of Migrant Workers

“As a member of the President’s official family, I am always subject to the control, and work under his trust and and confidence, of His Excellency,” ani Cacdac.

“I therefore humbly heed the call for courtesy resignation, which I shall submit immediately today,” dagdag pa niya.

Department of Information and Communications Technology

Magpapasa ngayong araw ng courtesy resignation si newly-appointed Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda.

“President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive urging all Cabinet secretaries to submit their courtesy resignations underscores his firm commitment to fast-track projects that uplift the lives of Filipinos,” saad sa pahayag ni Aguda.

“We stand by the President and serve at his pleasure. We will continue to work to deliver his mandate for the Filipino people,” dagdag pa niya.

“The President needs all the leeway to move the country forward, including shuffling his Cabinet lieutenants. Like everyone else, the SolGen will tender his courtesy resignation as directed,” ani Guevarra.

RNT/JGC
