MANILA, Philippines – Hindi muna tatanggap ng media interview si newly appointed Health Secretary Jose Pujalte Jr. kasabay ng pagtutok nito sa maayos na leadership transition.
Sa pahayag nitong Miyerkules, Hulyo 15, humiling ng pang-unawa ang Department of Health (DOH) sa publiko at sinabing si Pujalte at ang leadership team ng kagawaran ay gugugulin ang susunod na dalawang linggo sa transition.
Makikipagkita si Pujalte sa key officials at susuriin ang priority programs upang maihanda ang kagawaran para sa mas episyenteng paghahatid ng healthcare services.
“At this stage, the Secretary’s priority is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Department’s ongoing initiatives, ensure continuity of essential health services, and identify opportunities to further strengthen the delivery of public healthcare. His immediate focus is on work and execution,” ayon sa DOH.
“We appreciate the understanding and continued support of our media partners as the Department works to ensure a seamless transition and remains focused on serving the health needs of every Filipino,” dagdag ng DOH. RNT/JGC
