MANILA, Philippines – Muling nangako ang ilang gobernador ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) ng kanilang commitment para maabot ang “full-scale development” ng mga probinsya sa ilalim ng kanilang hurisdiksyon.
“We, the Governors of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao, stand resolutely committed to the full-scale development of our provinces, unwaveringly pursuing our enduring vision of achieving profound peace and prosperity,” saad sa joint statement.
Ang pahayag na inilabas nitong Biyernes, Pebrero 2, ay pirmado nina Tawi-Tawi Governor Yshmael Sali, Basilan Governor Hadjiman Hataman Salliman, Lanao del Sur Governor Mamintal Alonto Adiong Jr., at Maguindanao del Norte Governor Abdulraof Macacua.
Sinabi ng mga gobernador na makatutulong sa pagpapalakas ng kapayapaan at seguridad sa rehiyon ang kanilang collaborative efforts sa kanilang security sector at iba pang essential stakeholders.
Binanggit din ng mga ito ang implementasyon ng peace efforts sa pagitan ng Philippine government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) na nagdala sa “profound and substantial outcomes of peace that resonate powerfully across the entire region.”
“Bolstered by these accomplishments, we emphatically pledge our unwavering support to the ongoing implementation process of the peace agreement in our provinces,” dagdag pa nila.
Samantala, pinuri naman ng mga gobernador si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa suporta nito sa peace and development sa BARMM.
“His consistent and substantial policy statements and programs have instilled a sense of stability since assuming office,” saad pa sa pahayag.
“The Bagong Pilipinas program stands as a testament to his steadfast commitment to ensuring that the government’s presence is felt through the efficient delivery of services to people and communities.”
Nanawagan din ang mga ito ng pagkakaisa sa mga Filipino.
“This is an impassioned collective call to our constituents and the entire nation, urging steadfastness and unity to achieve our shared aspirations. The Bangsamoro People are resolved not to regress but to forge ahead together as one indomitable force, proudly celebrating our Bangsamoro identity as an integral part of the Philippine Republic,” ayon sa BARMM governors.
Ang pahayag ng mga gobernador, kasama ni BARMM Chief Ahod Ebrahim ay kasunod ng panawagan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ihiwalay na lamang ang Mindanao sa Pilipinas. RNT/JGC
