Manila, Philippines- Kaninang madaling-araw ng Lunes, February 24, ay pinost ng alt account na si Bortang Barbie Girl sa X ang mugshot ni Baron Geisler na nagsa-suggest diumano na naaresto ang aktor, Feb. 22, sa kalasingan.
Upon fact-checking, lumitaw na bago pa man kumalot ang mugshot na ito ay ibinalita na ng Bombo Radyo ang diumano’y pagkakakulong ng aktor ng ilang oras sa Mandaue City Police Station 6.
Misis pa raw nito ang nagbayad ng piyansang Php500 para sa kasong misdemeanor lang naman at hindi kriminal.
Around lunchtime ay binasag ng Incognito actor ang katahimikan niya at pinuna ang news outlets na hindi raw nag-verify ng facts at nagpakalat agad ng misinformation.
“Irresponsible journalism has blown things out of proportion, creating unnecessary confusion. I want to make it clear—I’m okay, and I’m seeking legal advice to address this properly,” sey niya.
Dumagsa naman sa comments section ng aktor ang suporta.
