MANILA, Philippines – SINABI ng Philippine Army (PA) na nakakolekta ito ng 3,015 blood bags sa pamamagitan ng Army-wide Simultaneous Blood Donation nito na isinagawa bilang bahagi ng paggunita sa National Heroes Day.
Sa isang kalatas, sinabi ni PA spokesperson Col. Louie Dema-ala na ang blood drive ay pinangunahan ni Army commander Lt. Gen. Antonio Nafarrete, na pinuri ng lahat ng nagpartisipang military at civilian personnel para sa kanilang dedikasyon at kabayanihan.
“(Lt. Gen. Nafarrete) led the activity and commended the troops for their active participation and enacting heroism through their donations,” ang sinabi ni Dema-ala.
Tinuran pa ni Dema-ala na may kabuuang 3,015 blood bags ang dinonate ng napiling Army personnel at reservists, mga sibilyan at stakeholders, at iba pang uniformed personnel.
