Manila, Philippines – Ipinagpaliban ngayong araw ng House Committee on Justice ang botohan para sa “sufficiency in substance” sa impeachment nakahaing laban kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Ito ayon kay Batangas Rep. Gerville Luistro ay dahil bukas magbobotohan matapos isailalim sa deliberasyon ang Maza et al complaint na hindi natalakay ngayong umaga dahil katatapos lamang talakayin ang De Jesus complaint.
“We will be voting on this tomorrow afternoon after we are done with our deliberations on the sufficiency of substance of the Maza et al complaint. We wish to seek also the understanding of the endorsers and even the complainants in Maza et al complaint.”
Kinikilala ni Luistro ang masiglang partisipasyon ng mga miembro ng komite na siyang nagbunsod upang masusing mahimay ang De Jesus complaint.
“Medyo naging exhaustive po ang ating discussuion and we want to give time to the members of the committee to recharge, to have a fresh mind when they listen to the manifestation of position of the endrosers of Maza et al complain,” pahayag ni Luistro bago tuluyan suspendihin ang pagdinig.
Bukas ng alas-10:00 ng umaga itutuloy ang pagdinig para sa ikalawang impeachment na inihain ni dating Gabriela Rep. Liza Maza et al upang mapagbotohan rin ang sufficiency in substance ng dalawang reklamo.
Sa mga reklamong nakapaloob sa impeachment complaint na inihain ni Atty. Andrei De Jesus at inindorso ni Atty. Jernie Jett Nisay ng Pusong Pinoy Partylist ay pawang ibinasura ng mga mambabatas sa pagsasabing wala, kapos at kulang na mga ebidensya para patunayan ang Culpable Violation of the Constitution at Betrayal of Public Trust laban kay Pangulong Marcos.
