MANILA, Philippines – Bukas sa lahat ang deliberasyon ng bicameral conference committee sa P7.2 trilyong national budget.
Ito ang tugon ni Senador JV Ejercito sa panawagan ng business groups at civil society na buksan ang bicameral deliberations sa publiko na magsisimula sa Nobyembre 9.
“Having more eyes on the budget will help us spot any unvetted projects or last-minute insertions that may be introduced during the bicam,” saad sa pahayag ni Ejercito.
“A national budget should be a direct reflection of the people’s priorities, their basic needs,” dagdag pa niya.
“From the first hearing to the final bicam, we want every single peso in the 2027 budget to be accountably and transparently allocated.”
Ani Ejercito, ila-livestream din ang lahat ng budget hearings ng Senate finance committee upang masundan ito ng publiko.
Bukod sa livestreaming, inimbitahan din nila ang mga business coalition, civic groups, at watchdogs para tumulong sa pagbusisi ng Senado sa House-approved version ng 2027 General Appropriations Bill (GAB).
