MANILA, Philippines – Nasa kabuuan na 10,490 mula sa 10,504 na aplikante ang nakatapos sa tatlong araw na 2024 Bar Examinations.
Ayon kay Bar Chairperson at Supreme Court Associate Justice Mario Lopez, kabilang sa sumabak sa Bar Exams ay ang isang buntis na examinee na kahit sumailalim sa caesarian operation noong Biyernes, Setyembre 13, itinuloy pa rin nito ang pagsusulit.
“We allowed her to continue with the examination under intense medical supervision of our doctors. She also signed a health liability waiver. Indeed, despite the physical toll of childbirth, she has persevered through her #MostValuableLaban and now stands at the finish line,” ani Lopez.
Mayroon din aniyang mga examinees na persons with disabilities (PWDs).
“Their stories are testaments to the power of the human spirit, proving that no obstacle is too great when one is driven by purpose and passion…These individuals exemplify what it means to rise above adversity.”
Samantala, sa isinagawang Turn-over Ceremonies, ipinasa na ni Justice Lopez kay Justice Amy Lazaro-Javier ang tungkulin bilang Chairperson ng 2025 Bar Examinations.
Sinabi naman ni Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo, ang Bar Examinations ay isang mahalagang yugto sa buhay ng isang abugado.
Simula lamang aniya ito sa ‘journey’ ng isang abugado dahil ang tunay na tagumpay ay makikita kung paano maging matatag sa kabila ng mga pagsubok.
