MANILA, Philippines – Inendorso ng Commission on Appointments (CA) panel nitong Miyerkules ang kumpirmasyon ng ad interim appointment ni Jonvic Remulla bilang kalihim ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Ginawa ni CA Majority Floor Leader Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte Jr. ang mosyon para irekomenda ang kumpirmasyon sa appointment ni Remulla.
“Mr. Chair. I move to recommend to the plenary session of the commission for the confirmation of the ad interim appointment of Mr. Juanito Victor Catibayan Remulla as Secretary Department of the DILG. I so moved Mr. Chair,” aniya sa pulong ng CA Committee on the Interior and Local Government.
“As duly seconded by the senators and congressmen here, there have been no objections, the motion is hereby approved. Congratulations, Secretary Remulla,” ani CA committee chairperson Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri.
Sa pagpupulong, tinanong si Remulla tungkol sa kanyang mga plano sa pag-streamline ng organisasyon ng pulisya, pagbabawal laban sa Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO), mga reporma sa bilangguan, at iba pa. RNT
