MANILA, Philippines — Kumpiyansa ang Philippine Tennis Association na pwedeng kumatawan si Alex Eala sa bansa para sa Thailand SEA Games sa Disyembre.
“We’re hoping she could play for the Philippines. Let’s all pray she does,” ani Philta executive director Tonette Mendoza.
Sinabi ni Mendoza na ang lahat ay depende sa iskedyul ng world No. 65 Eala.
“She’s just trying to fit it to her schedule but she seems very excited so we really hope she could fit it all in,” ani Mendoza.
Kung makakasama si Eala sa SEA Games, makakamit niya ang kanyang unang ginto sa biennial event matapos masungkit ang tatlong bronze sa 2021 Hanoi edition.
Samantala, ang bansa ay naghahanda para sa Group III sa Davis Cup na may pag-asa na makabalik sa Group II kung saan ang bansa ay dating regular.
