MANILA, Philippines – Imomonitor ng pamahalaan ang epekto ng truce sa trade war sa pagitan ng Estados Unidos at China, ayon kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nitong Sabado, Nobyembre 1.
Anang Pangulo, ang trade war sa pagitan ng dalawang malalaking ekonomiya ay magiging ”less intense” bilang resulta ng truce.
”The best information I got says that they have declared peace for at least a year. So, the trade war will be less intense at least for a year. Or at least that’s the agreement…We hope it lasts a year,” ani Marcos.
”We are waiting to see more, try and get more information. We’ll see how it impacts the Philippines, our trade deals with the US, our trade deals with China, and I guess within Asia and within APEC, it really affects the entire world,” dagdag pa nito.
Nitong Huwebes, sinabi ni US President Donald Trump na nakipagkasundo siya kay President Xi Jinping na tapyasan ang taripa sa China kapalit ng crackdown ng Beijing sa illicit fentanyl trade, pagbabalik ng US soybean purchases, at pananatiling ang rare earths exports ay dumadaloy.
Sinabi ni Trump na ang taripa na ipinapataw sa Chinese imports ay babawasan sa 47% mula sa 57%.
