MANILA, Philippines – Pinarangalan ng mga miyembro ng Philippine Army ang mga nasawing kasamahan nito sa Libingan ng mga Bayani sa Taguig City bilang paggunita sa Undas.
Sa pahayag nitong Sabado, Nobyembre 1, sinabi ng PA at iba pang partner agencies na nagsagawa sila ng synchronized candle-lighting at flaglet-setting tributes sa mga nasawing sundalo, bayani, national artists at scientists, at mga dating presidente.
“May their light remind us that darkness will never prevail where courage, faith, and unity burn bright. The light we hold today must not fade after this ceremony. We must carry it in our hearts, in our actions, in our service, and in the way we treat one another as Filipinos,” sinabi ni PA Support Command Acting Commander Major General Florante Sison.
Samantala, sinabi ng Philippine Army na nagpakalat ito ng 320 tauhan mula sa PA, Explosive Ordnance Disposal / Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (EOD, CBRN) personnel, Philippine Air Force (PAF), Philippine Navy at Philippine Marine Corps, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, at Taguig City Traffic Management Office para bantayan ang sementeryo ngayong Undas.
