CHINA – Hindi naging problema para sa China ang isyu patungkol sa freedom of navigation at overflight sa South China Sea kasabay ng paghimok nito sa Pilipinas na huwag nang gumawa ng gulo sa pagtanggap ng suporta mula sa Estados Unidos.
Ayon kay ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun, hindi dapat targetin ng usapan ng US at Pilipinas ang mga third party.
“I would like to emphasize there has never been a problem with freedom of navigation and overflight in the South China Sea,” ani Guo.
”The U.S. needs to get rid of its Cold War mentality, stop creating ideological confrontation, stop sowing tension in the region and discord between its countries, and stop being the disrupter and provocateur in the South China Sea. We also call on the Philippines to stop creating instability with U.S. backing, still less seek military confrontation,” dagdag niya.
Matatandaan na sinabi ni U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth na palalakasin ng dalawang bansa ang depensa laban sa mga banta kabilang ang aksyon ng China. RNT/JGC
