MANILA, Philippines- Mahigit 3,000 police officers at personnel ang nakaantabay upang magsilbing special electoral boards (SEBs) para sa Eleksyon 2025, base sa Philippine National Police (PNP).
Sa Saturday News Forum, sinabi ni Director for Police Community Relations Police Maj. Gen. Roderick Augustus Alba na naghahanda na ang PNP para sa deployment bilang SEBs, “more than 3,000 of them, should our COMELEC (Commission on Elections) ask assistance from the PNP.”
“We are ready to provide these trained SEBs then we have also prepared to have our security plans in place,” anang PNP official.
Ayon kay PNP Public Information Office chief Police Col. Randulf Tuaño, hanggang noong May 5, 37 election hotspots ang natukoy, 35 sa mga ito ang nasa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Kasado ang araw ng eleksyon sa Lunes, Mayo 12, kung saan bubuksan ang polling precincts ng alas-5 ng umaga upang makaboto nang maaga ang senior citizens, persons with disability, at mga buntis na registered voters hanggang alas-7 ng umaga.
Mula alas-7 ng umaga hanggang alas-7 ng gabi naman ang regular voting hours.RNT/SA
