MANILA, Philippines – Inihalintulad ni Vice President Sara Duterte ang kanyang papalapit na impeachment trial sa “crucifixion” o pagpapapako sa krus.
Ani Duterte, “It’s a persecution, some sort of crucifixion. And so when there’s crucifixion, there’s blood. So, it’s a bloodbath, my bloodbath.”
Matatandaan na sinabi ng Bise Presidente na gusto niyang magpatuloy ang impeachment trial dahil nais niyang dumanak ang dugo.
Nakakuha ito ng iba’t ibang reaksiyon sa mga politiko at publiko.
Idinipensa naman ni Duterte ang kanyang mga salita at sinabing, “Many people refuse to understand the context wherein I give my statements. I think many misunderstood the word ‘bloodbath.’ Many did not want to understand, refused to understand what it means.”
Iginiit niya na ang impeachment process kasi ay dahil sa political retaliation.
“We have always said that the impeachment is a political persecution. It is the administration going after me.” RNT/JGC
