LENLEN ORETA: A VISION FOR FUTURE OF MALABON

FORMER Malabon Mayor Antolin “Lenlen” Oreta III is a leader with a deep commitment to public service.

Having served as the city’s chief executive for a decade, he now seeks a congressional seat to bring his brand of governance to the national level.

His leadership is marked by progressive policies that have transformed Malabon, making his candidacy a continuation of his efforts to uplift the community.

Oreta’s legislative agenda focuses on three key pillars: health, education, and livelihood.

Under the National Unity Party, he aligns with the principles of unity and sustainability, aiming to implement policies that will have a lasting impact on his constituents.

One of his priority measures is a proposed “stunting bill,” which seeks to combat child malnutrition—a problem he successfully addressed in Malabon by significantly lowering malnutrition rates.

His governance philosophy is best summarized by his campaign framework, POGI — Pondo diretso sa tao (Funds go directly to the people), Organisadong ayuda sa panahon ng krisis (Organized distribution of aid in times of crisis), Garantisadong tulong (Guaranteed assistance), and Infrastructure development.

This strategy reflects his belief in transparent, efficient and people-centered public service. Through this approach, he hopes to ensure that government resources directly benefit those in need.

Beyond politics, Oreta’s dedication to public service is rooted in his family’s legacy. As the son of former Senator Tessie Aquino Oreta, he was exposed to policymaking and social advocacy at an early age.

His mother championed early childhood education, and he plans to continue this advocacy by pushing for stronger educational programs that empower Malabon’s youth.

His background in finance further equips him with the expertise needed to ensure responsible and effective governance.

Oreta envisions a Malabon that is more resilient, inclusive, and progressive. Whether through legislative measures or community-driven initiatives, he remains committed to addressing the city’s socio-economic challenges.

As he seeks a seat in Congress, his leadership promises continuity in development while pushing for new policies that will secure a brighter future for every Malabonian.
