THE Malabon City government has started releasing to its constituents the first tranche of its financial aid through the Malabon Ahon Blue Card for 2025.
The City Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning Office said that the 86,674 qualified MABC holders may withdraw their financial aid at designated powered automated teller machines.
The residents, who are card holders, can also withdraw through any USSC branches nationwide from until the end of the month or on February 28 at 11:59 p.m.
“The MABC team will also post a link with the list of qualified residents on its Facebook page,” Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said.
In related development, the mayor led the soft launching of the MABC ’Eskwela’ Savings Program for Grade 1 students which allows the learners to save money that will help them in the future.
The beneficiaries will be given a savings account with an initial fund of P1,000.
The program was first announced during the ‘Walang Tulugan Serbisyo Caravan 4.0’ on Jan. 14, 2025 along with the other new MABC ’Para Sa Kababaihan’ which empowers local solo parents.
Free Dental Services
In celebration of Oral Health Month, the city government has offered free dental services, including consultations and tooth extractions, to 664 residents.
The beneficiaries, from the villages of Barangays Longos, Dampalit, Muzon, Catmon, and Niugan, received these services between February 1 and 16.
Sandoval emphasized the significance of maintaining oral health, noting that healthy teeth are not only essential for proper nutrition but also contribute to one’s confidence and overall well-being.
“Napakalahalagang mapangalagaan din ng bawat Malabueño ang kanilang mga ngipin. Maliban sa ito ay kailangan upang tayo ay makakain ng maayos, ay nakakadagdag pa ito sa ganda ng mga ngiti ng bawat isa,” she said.
“Sa ating pagsisikap na mapabuti ang kalusugan ng ating kapwa Malabueño, isinasagawa po natin ang mga aktibidad na ito. Kung gaano kahalaga ang maayos na pangangatawan, ganoon din kahalaga ang pangangalaga ng ating mga ngipin. Lumapit lamang po sa ating pamahalaang lungsod at abangan ang mga susunod na aktibidad kung kinakailangan ng serbisyong pangkalusugan.”
