“Based on its assessment of the evidence submitted by the parties in relation to these parameters, the Commission found merit in allowing the parties to implement their PSA pending the issuance of the final decision in the case,” saad sa pahayag ng ERC.
Sa desisyon, ikinokonsidera ng ERC ang pagtugon sa Competitive Selection Process (CSP) rules and guidelines ng Department of Energy, supply-demand scenario, salient features ng PSA, bid price, at PSA rate.
“Granting this interim relief enables vital power supply agreements to proceed, while we continue to exercise due diligence before issuing a final ruling,” pahayag ni ERC chairperson at chief executive officer Atty. Francis Saturnino Juan. RNT/JGC
