MANILA, Philippines- Asahan na ng mga kustomer ng Manila Electric Company (Meralco) ang posibleng pagbaba sa household rate ng power distributor ngayong buwan.
“Initial indication shows a possible decrease in the generation charge in the October billing,” pahayag ng Meralco.
“This is primarily driven by lower WESM (Wholesale Electricity Spot Market) charges as prices went down due to reduced demand brought about by cooler temperatures in the September supply month,” dagdag nito.
Kasunod ang inaasahang pagbaba ng singil sa household rate ng Meralco ng pagtataas nito ng power cost noong Setyembre dahil sa mas mataas na transmission charge para sa residential customers. RNT/SA
