MANILA, Philippines – INALALA ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., ngayong Father’s Day, ang kanyang ama na si dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Sr., at mga leksyon na natutunan mula rito.
“Remembering my father today. No matter how much time passes, there are some lessons a son never outgrows,” ang sinulat ni Pangulong Marcos sa kanyang Facebook.
“My father taught me the value of duty, the importance of perseverance and the conviction that our lives are measured by what we give of ourselves in service to others,” aniya pa rin.
“For those lessons and for his love, I remain deeply grateful,” ang sinabi pa ni Pangulong Marcos.
Dinakila ng Pangulo ang lahat ng ama, sabay sabing: “On this Father’s Day, I honor not only my father but all fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers and father figures whose love, sacrifice and presence help shape the lives of their children and the future of our nation.”
Samantala, nagpalabas naman sina Unang Ginang Liza Araneta-Marcos at mga anak na si Sandro, Simon and Vincent “Official Presidential Father’s Day Executive Order” bilang pagbibigay puri at pagbubunyi kay Pangulong Marcos, “nagbibigay kautusan” sa Pangulo na magpahinga, walang stressful meetings, at magkaroon ng ‘mandatory dessert.’ KRIS JOSE
