NORTH KOREA – Itinanggi ng North Korea nitong Miyerkules, Setyembre 30 ang anunsyo ng South Korea na ang mina ng North Korea ang dahilan ng pagsabog sa loob ng Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
Dito inakusahan ng North Korea ang South Korea ng pamemeke ng findings at nagbabala ng “immediate and merciless” retaliation kung mapaputukan ang kanilang mga sundalo.
Sa pahayag, nagbabala si Kim Yo-jong, kapatid ni North Korean leader Kim Jong-un matapos ianunsyo ng South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff nitong lunes na ang land mines ng North Korea ang posibleng sanhi ng pagsabog noong Setyembre 21 dahilan para masaktan ang tatlong sundalo ng South Korea.
“What should not be overlooked is the fact that the armed gangsters of the ROK are now cooking up the groundless results and ‘justifying their conduct’ for political and military provocation against the DPRK, openly talking about ‘reasonable and corresponding enforcement of measures,’” ani Kim.
Sinabi rin niya na nagsimula ang North Korean military ng pagtatayo ng mga barrier sa southern border areas dalawang taon na ang nakalilipas at ito ay “only a thorough exercise of sovereignty unrelated with any military purposes.”
Iginiit niya na ang mga sundalo ng North Korea “have never crossed the border” habang inaakusahan ang South Korean military ng pagbabanta sa kanilang mga sundalo sa pamamagitan ng broadcast at warning shots.
“If the ROK military gangsters fire at our soldiers carrying on the permanent project for the southern border, not warning shots, our border units will take immediate and merciless retaliate attack.”
Ibinabala pa ni Kim na ang patuloy na “malicious accusation and provocation” sa border region ay maaaring magdulot ng “situation that has not yet been experienced.” RNT/JGC
