A STRONG and synchronized campaign against criminality recently unfolded across Metro Manila as the National Capital Region Police Office carried out a region-wide anti-crime operation that netted 238 arrests in just 24 hours.

The apprehended suspects were involved in offenses ranging from illegal drugs and gambling to possession of firearms and outstanding warrants, according to NCRPO director PMGen. Anthony Aberin.

This operation was more than just a show of force — it was a testament to the power of unified leadership and strategic clarity.

Aberin’s disciplined and data-informed command continues to bring out the full potential of the Enhanced Managing Police Operations, a proactive policing strategy that emphasizes speed, presence and precision.

Crucially, these efforts reflect the strategic vision of Philippine National Police Acting Chief PLtGen. Jose Melencio ‘Tateng’ Nartatez Jr., whose Seven-Point Agenda is driving transformation across the ranks.

From intensified patrols to intelligence-led operations, the NCRPO’s results echo Nartatez’s call for a responsive and people-first approach to law enforcement.

The recent arrest of a basag-kotse suspect in Makati, along with the seizure of firearms and stolen items, underscores the effectiveness of proactive patrolling — a key pillar of EMPO and a priority under the new PNP leadership.

As public trust hinges on performance and integrity, these coordinated actions by NCRPO are helping restore confidence in the police force.

The message is clear: professionalism, transparency and accountability are not just ideals — they are now being realized on the ground.

With the continued synergy between Nartatez’s agenda and Aberin’s execution, Metro Manila is steadily moving toward a safer and more secure future — proof that a Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas is not just a vision, but a mission in motion.
