MANILA, Philippines – Tumatakbo nang 100% ang mga transmission line at pasilidad sa buong bansa kasabay ng ikaapat na State of the Nation Address ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ngayong Lunes, Hulyo 28.
“NGCP’s (National Grid Corporation of the Philippines) transmission lines and facilities are under normal operations,” ayon sa NGCP sa 9 a.m. advisory nito.
Sa naunang pahayag, sinabi ng NGCP na ang Overall Command Center nito ay pinagana alas-7 ng umaga ng Lunes at tatakbo hanggang alas-6 ng gabi para magbigay ng status reports sa mga substation at transmission lines.
Ito ay “part of its preparations to secure power transmission operations and facilities during this year’s State of the Nation Address,” anila.
Siniguro rin ng ahensya sa publiko na “contingency plans are in place to monitor and immediately address any grid disturbance.”
Dagdag pa, “critical units, particularly System Operations (SO) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M), will be fully staffed and operational. Line crews, engineers, pilots, maintenance and testing, and other technical personnel are also strategically positioned in NGCP substations to respond to line trippings, if any.”
“Our Integrated Disaster Action Plan (IDAP) prescribes relevant measures to ensure the readiness of all power transmission facilities to be affected by emergencies during important national events. NGCP assures the public of reliable power transmission services during this significant event.” RNT/JGC
