MANILA, Philippines- Nakumpiska ang hinihinalang pekeng motorcycle parts na nagkakahalaga ng P12 milyon sa Bulacan sa isang operasyon na isinagawa ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Sinabi ng NBI na isinagawa ang operasyon noong Dec. 3 ng mga operatiba ng NBI-Intellectual Property Rights Division (NBI-IPRD) sa pakikipagtulungan sa Philippine National Police (PNP) sa Bulacan.
Sa nasabing operasyon, sinabi nitong apat na search warrants ang isinilbi laban sa OK Motorparts & Accessories/Ape Qingtan Hong Motor Parts, Inc. matatagpuan sa bayan ng Balagtas.
“The operation stemmed on the complaint filed by Honda representative as regards to the proliferation of fake products bearing their trademark,” anito.
“The said operation resulted in the seizure of substantial quantity of various motorcycle parts and accessories with an estimated value of P12,000,000,” dagdag pa. RNT/SA
