MANILA, Philippines – Nagbabala sa publiko ang Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) laban sa illegal offshore gaming websites na nagsasabing sila ay lisensyado at accredited ng ahensya.
Ang mga pekeng offshore gaming websites ay gumagamit ng logo ng PAGCOR at nagpapakita ng mga fabricated license certificates.
Kabilang sa mga site na ito ay ang efesbetcasino514.com; OG7777 online gaming (og7777.org); Mpo500.com; QQ88.com; mpo2121.com; Lgolive.com; napolibet.com; KRATOSBET LTD (kratosbet.com); mpossport.com; at https://efsanebahis434.com.
Kabilang din sa fraudulent site ay ang https://cazeus2.com/en/responsible-gaming, na nag-ooperate mula sa United Kingdom.
“These platforms are not authorized to operate under any PAGCOR-issued license. We want to make it very clear that the use of PAGCOR’s name and logo by these sites is a blatant disrespect to the agency and poses a threat to the public,” saad sa pahayag ni PAGCOR Chairperson at Chief Executive Officer Alejandro Tengco.
“We urge everyone to remain vigilant and to always verify the legitimacy of any gaming site before engaging in it.”
Iginiit din ni Tengco na mula noong Disyembre 31, 2024 ay ipinagbabawal na sa bansa ang lahat ng Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGOs).
Ang mga dating POGO licensees at service providers na patuloy pa ring nagsasagawa ng operasyon ay maituturing nang illegal.
“Any entity claiming to operate under a PAGCOR license for offshore gaming is clearly violating the law and should be reported immediately,” ani Tengco. RNT/JGC
