MANILA, Philippines- Irerekomenda ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na ibaba ang kontribusyon ng mga miyembro sa pondo.
Ito ang sinabi ni PhilHealth president and chief executive officer Emmanuel Rufino Ledesma nang tanungin ni Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go kung imumungkahi nito ang pagpapababa ng premium contributions kay Marcos.
“Actually po, yes. Well, especially after this very nice hearing po that just happened, we will do it immediately po,” giit ni Ledesma.
“As early as this afternoon I will convene our team and we will recommend a reduction in the premium rates, and contribution rates to President Marcos,” dagdag niya.
Nagsagawa ng pagdinig ang Senate committee sa P89.9 bilyong labis na PhilHealth funds na ibinalik sa unprogrammed funds ng pamahalaan. RNT/SA
