MANILA, Philippines- Nag-isyu ang Archdiocese of Manila nitong Biyernes ng panalangin para sa darating na pagpili sa bagong pinuno ng Simbahang Katolika.
Sa Circular No. 2025–31, nanawagan ang archdiocese na ipanalangin ang College of Cardinals na maghahalal sa ika-267 papa sa conclave sa Vatican sa susunod na linggo.
“We request you to enjoin the faithful to participate in the celebration of the Eucharist, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Liturgy of the Hours, personal prayer, and the praying of the rosary in solidarity with the whole Church,” pahayag ng Manila Archdiocese.
“Our parishes and communities will kindly recite the Prayer for the Election of a Pope after the Post Communion Prayer in all Masses starting Saturday evening, 3 May 2025, until the election of the new Supreme Pontiff,” dagdag nito.
“On Wednesday, 7 May 2025, the beginning of the conclave, our Masses in our parishes and communities will be ‘For the Election of a Pope’,” anunsyo rin nito.
