MANILA, Philippines – Inihayag ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) nitong Martes ang mga planong simulan ang pagsasapubliko ng mga pangalan ng mga traffic violators.
“We have a plan to publish a list every week. We will probably call it the ‘Do Not Imitate’ or ‘Do Not Follow’ list,” saad ni Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon.
Ibinunyag niya ang inisyatiba matapos ang isang matinding traffic offense na humantong sa walang hanggang pagbawi ng lisensya sa pagmamaneho noong Martes.
“If you’re not afraid of cases or fines, then maybe this will make you feel ashamed. I’m serious about this. If you don’t want to end up on that list once we implement it, then you’d better start behaving,” aniya.
