MANILA, Philippines – Inihayag ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) nitong Lunes, Setyembre 9 na walang immigration stamp sa pasaporte ni dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo nang siya ay illegal na lumabas ng bansa.
“We have reviewed the contents of her passport upon her arrival and found out that she has the same immigration stamps as her alleged sister Shiela,” saad sa pahayag ni said BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco.
“No Philippine stamps were found in both passports, showing that they left the country illegally without undergoing regular immigration inspection,” dagdag pa niya.
Si Guo ay nahaharap sa mga reklamo ng human trafficking, undesirability at misrepresentation sa ilalim ng batas ng Pilipinas, na ibinalik sa Pilipinas matapos mahuli sa Indonesia.
Nang dumating si Guo sa bansa, sinuri ng BI ang kanyang pasaporte na nakita na hindi ito dumaan sa immigration process. RNT/JGC
