MANILA, Philippines – Umakyat na sa 15 ang bilang ng mga nasawi kasunod ng mas marami pang bangkay na narerekober sa landslide sa Maco, Davao de Oro.
Sa ulat alas-12 ng tanghali nitong Biyernes, Pebrero 9, sinabi ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Maco na 110 katao ang nananatiling nawawala habang 31 naman ang sugatan at nasagip.
“Based on the initial report (names for validation), we have already recorded that fifteen (15) bodies were recovered from the landslide and thirty one (31) injured people were rescued,” ayon sa ulat.
“We have a total of 110 reported alleged missing individuals from our residents and companies,” dagdag pa.
Nitong umaga, nasagip na buhay ang batang babae dalawang araw matapos ang landslide.
Nabigyan na ng atensyong medikal at nasa stable na kondisyon ang bata.
“A miraculous little girl survived the landslide that hit Zone 1, Barangay Masara, Maco. This girl was rescued this morning during an ongoing search, rescue, and retrieval operation by our responders,” sinabi pa ng Maco LGU.
“So far, this child’s condition is confirmed to be stable after receiving proper medical attention by doctors and nurses at the hospital,” dagdag pa nito.
Hanggang Biyernes ng umaga, 1,195,672 katao ang apektado ng trough ng low pressure area, saad sa ulat ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
Ang mga apektadong rehiyon ay ang Northern Mindanao, Davao, Soccsksargen, Caraga at Bangsamoro. RNT/JGC
