Hindi pahihintulutan na makalabas ang mga persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) para bumisita sa kanilang mahal sa buhay na pumanaw na, subalit sa kabila nito ay ipatutupad ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) ang Electronic Undas, kung saan maaari nilang tawagan o maka-video call ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay na bumibisita sa sementeryo. MANILA, Philippines – Nagsanib-pwersa ang Department of Justice at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) para sa skills training at career opportunities ng mga nabigyan ng pardon at parole.
Nilagdaan ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Boying Remulla at ni TESDA Director General Jose Francisco “Koko” B. Benitez ang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) na layon mapaunlad ang
ang pagbabago ng isang detainee sa pamamagitan ng pagiging self sufficient.
Salig sa MOA, ang DOJ ang susuri sa mga kwalipikadong probationers, parolees at pardonees na ituturing na main beneficiaries na irerekomenda sa TESDA.
“The MOA tasks the DOJ to be in-charge of informing and encouraging clients to avail of the various skills training programs such as but not limited to TESDA’s short term and community-based training programs with the goal of acquiring technical skills for employment and career opportunities.”
Ang DOJ din ang makikipag-ugnayan sa mga local government units (LGUs) sa paghahanap ng lugar para idaos ang skills training.
Ang TESDA naman ang magaasagawa ng
mobile training programs (MTP) at Training Needs Analysis upang madetermina ang posibleng skills training programs sa bawat inmate.
