MANILA, Philippines- Pinayuhan ng Philippine Embassy sa Seoul ang mga Pilipino sa South Korea na iwasan ang matataong lugar at tumalima sa mga batas na nagbabawal sa pakikilahok ng mga dayuhan sa mga demonstrasyon.
“With the expected holding of massive public assemblies, demonstrations and protests in the coming days in view of the current domestic situation in South Korea, Filipino nationals are advised to observe the usual precautions and to avoid crowded and congested public areas,” saad sa post ng embahada sa Facebook nitong Sabado.
“The Embassy further reminds Filipinos that under the laws of Republic of Korea, foreigners are prohibited from participating in local political activities, including public demonstrations under Article 17 of the Immigration Control Act (Sojourn and Departure of Foreigners) of South Korea,” dagdag nito.
“The Embassy advises all Filipino nationals to comply with all local laws and regulations to avoid any issues that may affect their stay in South Korea,” anito pa.
Nagsagawa ng kilos-protesta sa Seoul ang mga taga-suporta at kritiko ng pinatalsik na si South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol. RNT/SA
