MANILA, Philippines – NAGSAGAWA ng aktibidad ang Philippine Air Force (PAF) at ang United States Pacific Air Forces sa Philippine Sea para sa isang bilateral training.
“Philippine Air Force A-29 Super Tucanos, Missouri ANG C-130 H2 Hercules, and 25th Fighter Squadron A-10 Thunderbolt IIs fly in formation over the Philippine Sea for bilateral training,” ang sinabi ng Pacific Air Forces sa Facebook post nito.
Ang US’ A-10 Thunderbolt IIs aircraft o “warthogs,” itinalaga sa 25th Fighter Squadron, lumapag sa Clark Air Base sa Pilipinas noong Disyembre 6.
Ito ay para sa pagsasanay kasama ang Philippine Air Force hanggang Disyembre 15.
“Pacific Air Force’s Dynamic Force Employment deployments enhance combined lethality by prioritizing the capacity and capabilities for major combat operations while being strategically predictable but operationally unpredictable in an ever-evolving competitive and contested environment,” ang sinabi ng US Pacific Air Forces.
“The U.S. Air Force conducts regular training and engagements such as this within the region to further develop operational readiness and ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific,”ang sinabi pa rin nito.
Samantala, sinabi ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) na ang four-ship flying integration ay isinagawa bilang bahagi ng joint exercise na tinawag na “Iron Swat” noong Disyembre 9 hanggang 13 sa Clark Air Base sa Mabalacat, Pampanga.
