MANILA, Philippines – Pinuri at pinasalamatan ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez ang mga atletang Pinoy na naka-podium finish sa nakalipas na 2024 Paris Olympics.
Kinilala ng Kamara ang sakripiyo nina EJ Obiena at Bianca Pagdanganan.
Si Obiena na kasalukuyang nasa world’s number two sa men’s pole vault ay pumasok sa ikaapat na pwesto sa Olympics gayundin si Pagdanganan sa larong Golf.
“The entire nation stands proud of our athletes. You have lifted the Filipino spirit and proven that with hard work, discipline, and the support of the Filipino people, we can achieve greatness on the world stage,” pahayag ni Romualdez.
Maliban sa kanila pinuri din ng Kamara ang lahat ng atletang Pinoy na lumaban sa Olympics.
“Your hard work, dedication, and commitment have brought honor to our nation. Qualifying for the Olympics is already an extraordinary achievement, and you have shown the world the strength and resilience of the Filipino spirit,” pahayag nito
Ang Pilipinas ay nagtapos sa ika-37 na pwesto sa nakalipas na Olympics matapos makaaungkit ng 2 gold si
