“It is really an ongoing process and that all of these discussions are really, as far as the Philippines is concerned, it is concerned with the maintenance of peace and South China Sea,” ayon sa Pangulo.

“With an eye not to winning any kind of conflict but really just to maintain the peace and to continue to defend sovereignty and sovereign rights of the Philippines when it comes to these international differences,” aniya pa rin.

“A safe navigation and passage of the South China Sea is important to international trade, as goes to 60 percent of international trade goes through that channel and we hope to continue these discussions,” ang pahayag ng Punong Ehekutibo.

“Well, of course, we hope the intention is to continue to plan, to strengthen the cooperation between the three countries—the United States, Japan, and the Philippines. And we will perhaps formalize it but we, at this point, we are still…that’s part of the discussion that we will be having to exactly what will be put in any agreement,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos.

“It is probably just formalizing what we are already doing, which will put a bit more structure to what we will do as a interoperability and the actual joint cruises that we are having,” aniya pa rin. Kris Jose
