MANILA, Philippines – Ibinasura ng Ombudsman ang reklamo laban kay Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla kaugnay sa pag-aresto kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Si Remulla ay kandidato para sa posisyon sa Ombudsman.
Si Sen.Imee Marcos na chairperson of the Senate Committe on Foreign Relations na naghain ng kaso laban kay Remulla at naghain na rin ng motion for reconsideration.
Sa motion for reconsideration na inihain noong Setyembre 12, sinabi ng senador na si Remulla ay “may nakabinbing kaso pa rin sa Office of the Ombudsman.”
“Under the Rules of the Office of the Ombudsman (A.O. 7 series of 1990), a motion for reconsideration may be filed within 5 days from notice of the decision. I filed my Motion for Reconsideration within the day the decision was rendered. It was clearly filed on time,” sabi ng senador.
“Any Ombudsman clearance to the contrary is simply untruthful, and the people who will issue such a clearance are complicit in this deception,” dagdag pa niya. Jocelyn Tabangcura-Domenden
