MANILA, Philippines – Nagsisimula nang pagnilay-nilayan ni senatorial candidate Willie Revillame ang posibilidad na maging senator-judge siya sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa oras na maluklok sa pwesto sa 20th Congress.
Aminado siya na hindi pa niya napag-aaralan ang articles of impeachment laban kay Duterte ngunit siniguro nito na siya ay susunod sa batas.
“If she is guilty, then what is there to do? I will vote accordingly. If she is not, then she’s not guilty,” ani Revillame.
Si Revillame ay kasalukuyang pasok sa ika-7 hanggang 13 pwesto sa 41.9 percent, o pasok sa tinatawag na Magic 12.
Nang tanungin tungkol sa kanyang political affiliations, sinabi ni Revillame na, “I am affiliated with the Filipino. I don’t affiliate myself with the government, with PDP-Laban, I am independent.”
“That is why my campaign right now, I don’t even use stages. I mingle with the people.”
“I think this is the right time for me, the perfect moment, to extend my help to everyone,” dagdag pa ng TV host. RNT/JGC
