SMS, email notifications sa NCAP violations inilunsad ng MMDA

MANILA, Philippines – Makatatanggap na ng real-time short message service (SMS) at email notification ang mga motorista kung sila ay makagawa ng paglabag sa ilalim ng No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP), sinabi ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) nitong Lunes, Hulyo 7.

“A key feature of this initiative is that vehicle owners will receive notification via SMS even without an internet connection so that immediate action may be taken as soon as they are notified and for their convenience,” saad sa pahayag ni MMDA chairperson Romando Artes.

Sinabi ng MMDA na ang mga motorista ay makatatanggap ng notification sa pamamagitan ng SMS at email kung maberipika na ang paglabag ng mga ito.

Para sa SMS, ang sender ay “MMDA_NCAP” at hindi gagamit ng cell phone number.

Sa kabilang banda, ang sender ng email ay “[email protected]”.

“The official MMDA text and email notifications do not include any payment links to prevent scams. Both the SMS and email notifications are sent from no-reply senders,” ayon sa MMDA.

Ayon sa ahensya, ang contact number at email address ng sasakyan ay magmumula sa mga rekord na nakarehistro sa Land Transportation Office – Land Transportation Management System.

Dahil dito ay hinimok ni Artes ang mga may-ari ng sasakyan na i-update ang kanilang rekord sa LTO LTMS upang masigurong matatanggap ang notification. RNT/JGC
