MANILA, Philippines – Tumaas sa 74 ang bilang ng election-related incidents na naberipika ng Philippine National Police (PNP).
“Shooting remains the most frequent incident recorded, reaching 27,” sinabi ni PNP Public Information Office (PIO) Chief Col. Randulf Tuaño sa isang briefing.
Ani Tuaño, nangyari ang insidente sa mga sumusunod na rehiyon:
Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao – 23 incidents
Cordillera Administrative Region – 17 incidents
Calabarzon – Nine incidents
Zamboanga Peninsula – Five incidents
Davao Region – Four incidents
Central Luzon – Three incidents
Ilocos Region – Two incidents
Cagayan Valley – Two incidents
Bicol Region – Two incidents
Western Visayas – Two incidents
Soccsksargen – Two incidents
Negros Island Region – Two incidents
Eastern Visayas – One incident
Samantala, biniberipika pa ng pulisya ang 43 pang hinihinalang election-related incidents hanggang nitong Mayo 16.
Dagdag pa, idinetalye rin ng opisyal ang 43 kaso ng vote-buying sa mga sumusunod na lugar:
Central Visayas – 11
Ilocos Region – Seven
Bicol Region – Four
Davao Region – Four
Cagayan Valley – Three
Calabarzon – Three
Zamboanga Peninsula – Three
Central Luzon – Two
Negros Island Region – Two
Western Visayas – One
Eastern Visayas – One
Cordillera Administrative Region – One
National Capital Region – One
Sa datos ng pulisya, ang mga insidenteng ito ay 79.16 percent na mas mataas mula sa 24 vote-buying cases na naitala noong 2023 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE).
Nagkaroon din ng 72.14 percent na pagtaas sa mga lumabag sa gun ban mula sa 1,827 noong 2023 BSKE sa 3,145 noong 2025 election period.
Tumaas din ng 54.86-percent ang bilang ng mga armas na nakumpiska sa panahon ng gun ban mula sa 2,085 sa 2023 BSKE.
