MANILA, Philippines – Umaasa si Vice President Sara Duterte na magkakaroon pa rin ng presidential election sa 2028 at maisagawa ito nang matapat, maayos at mapayapa.
Sa panayam, sinabi ni Duterte na siya ay “presumptive candidate” para sa susunod na presidential race marapos na magpahayag ng intensyong tumakbo.
“I’m already a presumptive candidate because I declared my intention to run for the next presidential elections,” ani Duterte.
“We can only pray that there will be a presidential election in 2028 and it will be honest, orderly, and peaceful,” dagdag pa niya.
Ang pahayag ay nang tanungin siya kung handa na siyang maging susunod na presidente.
Batay sa huling survey, nagpantay na sina Duterte at Senador Raffy Tulfo sa Pulse Asia presidential preference poll na isinagawa mula Pebrero 27 hanggang Marso 2.
Sa kaparehong tanong ay nahabol na rin ni Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo ang puntos ni Duterte sa mga napipisil na maging presidente sa 2028. RNT/JGC
