“Let’s not stop with flood control projects. Back in 2024, last year, I already said that even just the Department of Education’s school building program was being divided among members of the House of Representatives, but no one reacted…until now, no one is speaking up, no one is investigating,” ang sinabi ni VP Sara.
“It’s not just about flood control. So, if they really want to, if the administration is serious about addressing corruption, they should look at the entire 2024 and 2025 budgets,” aniya pa rin.
“We already spoke up, and [Marcos] knew about it, but he didn’t react. So it’s questionable why there is suddenly an investigation into the flood control projects,” ang sinabi ni VP Sara.
“If they are really serious—and [Marcos] knows this because he used to be a governor and I was a mayor—we all know what the anomalies and corruption are in the government budget and projects. Where is all the investigation?” aniya pa rin. /Kris Jose
