MANILA, Philippines – Sinabi ni Bise Presidente Sara Duterte na wala siyang sama ng loob kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa kabila ng pulitikal na pag-uusig mula sa mga kaalyado ng administrasyon.
Gayunman, inamin ni VP Sara na may problema siya sa performance ng Pangulo bilang Punong Ehekutibo ng bansa.
“I have no ill feelings with him with regard to the political persecution that I am receiving from the administration. Because that is part of the life of a politician,” ani Duterte sa isang panayam sa Melbourne, Australia noong Linggo, Hunyo 22.
Dagdag pa niya, hindi umano siya nakatanggap ng anumang imbitasyon mula kay Pangulong Marcos upang mag-usap, sa kabila ng panawagan ng publiko na magkaayos na sila.
“I have problems with his performance as president, and I have problems with the violations of our fundamental law, our Constitution — particularly with the rendition of former president Duterte. That was really an affront to Philippine sovereignty,” pahayag ni VP Sara, na tumutukoy sa pag-aresto at pagdadala sa kanyang ama, si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte, sa The Hague, Netherlands alinsunod sa inilabas na warrant ng International Criminal Court (ICC).
Ipinahayag din niya ang pagdududa sa sinabing prayoridad ni Pangulong Marcos na unahin ang pagtulong sa mga Pilipino kaysa sa kanyang kinakaharap na impeachment.
“Unfortunately, if you talk to the ordinary citizens and the Filipino community abroad, we don’t see anything at all,” dagdag pa ni Duterte.
Samantala, gaya ng hindi niya pagdalo sa State of the Nation Address (SONA) ng Pangulo noong 2024, sinabi ni VP Sara na wala rin siyang balak dumalo sa SONA ngayong Hulyo.
“I do not intend to attend the State of the Nation Address of President Marcos, since I don’t think he will be providing anything substantial about our country. It would be best to spend that time with the Filipino community discussing what we can do for the country and to improve the country,” aniya. Kris Jose
