MANILA, Philippines – Walang banta ng tsunami sa Pilipinas mula sa magnitude 6.4 na lindol na tumama sa Davao Oriental nitong Miyerkules ng umaga, Enero 7, ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Naitala ang lindol 55 kilometro hilagang silangan ng Manay, bandang 11:02 ng umaga.
“No destructive tsunami threat exists based on available data. This is for information purposes only and there is no tsunami threat to the Philippines from this earthquake,” saad sa hiwalay na abiso ng Phivolcs. RNT/JGC
