MANILA, Philippines – Walang ebidensya na mayroong sabwatan sa pagitan ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) at dating Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo para makatakas ito sa bansa, sinabi ng Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) nitong Huwebes, Setyembre 5.
“We have not found any evidence either way with regard to any possible liability as far as the Bureau of Immigration is concerned,” saad sa pahayag ni PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio sabay sabing wala ring ebidensya na pumunta si Guo sa opisina ng immigration.
Tinukoy ni Casio ang testimonya ng kapatid ni Alice na si Shiela, na sinabing siya, si Alice at ang kanilang kapatid na si Wesley ay lumabas ng Pilipinas sakay ng isang maliit na bangka.
“Chances are there was no immigration personnel who accommodated or facilitated her getting out of the Philippines. But again, that was the testimony of Shiela. We’d have to listen to the testimony of Alice,” ani Casio.
Ang pahayag ni Casio ay matapos na akusahan ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla ang Bureau of Immigration na tinulungan si Guo na makatakas. RNT/JGC
