MANILA, Philippines – Ipinakalat ng Philippine National Police ang wanted posters ng puganteng pastor na si Apollo Quiboloy at mga kasamahan nito, araw ng Sabado, Agosto 31 sa Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound sa Davao City.
Sa kabila nito, iginiit ng mga abogado ng KOJC na walang Karapatan ang pulisya na maglagay ng kung ano-ano sa isang private property.
“Whether you like it or not, i-remove n’yo na…you post it other place, ‘wag dito, We understand the part of the police, its just that this is a private property. It is our right also kung ano lang ang dapat i-post dito,” sinabi ni Atty. Adam Jambangan sa pulisya.
Para rin kay KOJC chief legal counsel Israelito Torreon, ang hakbang na ito ng PNP ay maituturing na kaso ng harassment.
“The clear intention there is not to inform, it was designed to harass, not to inform, agitate…this is a clear case of harassment,” ani Torreon.
Nanindigan naman sa ginawang aksyon ang Police Provincial Region XI.
Ayon kay PRO XI Special Task Force Teknon Alpha spokesperson Police Brig. Gen. Roderick Alba, ang mga poster ay layuning magbigay ng awareness sa mga tao na si Quiboloy ay pinaghahanap o ‘wanted.’
”Hindi naman tayo ipinanganak kahapon, what is the purpose….that is for awareness purposes. This is the information that the public need to know, hindi ito fake news” ani Alba. RNT/JGC
