MANILA, Philippines – Nalambat ng mga operatiba ng District Special Operations Unit ng Southern Police District (DSOU-SPD) ang isang senior citizen na tinaguriang top priority target sa probinsya ng Quezon sa isinagawang operasyon sa Pasay City Biyernes ng gabi, Abril 10.
Sa isinumiteng report ng DSOU kay SPD acting director P/Col. Glenn Oliver Cinco,ay nakilala ang inarestong suspek na si alyas Tessie, 72, tinaguriang top 5 most wanted person (MWP) sa provincial level at Rank No. 3 sa municipal level ng San Andres Municipal police station.
Napag-alaman sa imbestigasyon na naganap ang pagdakip sa suspek bandang alas 6:00 ng gabi sa kahabaan ng P. Burgos St., Brgy. 60, Pasay City.
Katuwang ng DSOU sa pagsasagawa ng operasyon ang mga operatiba ng District Intelligence Division (DID-SPD), District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB-SPD), at ng San Andres Municipal Police Station.
Naisakatuparan ang pagdakip sa suspek sa bisa ng warrant of arrest na inisyu noong Pebrero 24, 2025 ni Regional Trial Court (RTC) Presiding Judge Julius Francis R. Galvez ng Branch 96, Fourth Judicial Region, Catanauan, Quezon, kaugnay sa kinahaharap na kasong frustrated murder sa ilalim ng Criminal Case No. 24-1672-CAT na may kaakibat na rekomendasyon ng piyansa na nagkakahalaga ng P200,000.
Kasalukuyang nakapiit sa DSOU custodial facility ang suspek habang inaayos ang dokumentasyon para sa paglipat ng kustodiya nito sa San Andres Municipal police.
