MANILA, Philippines – Dinagdagan pa ng tatlong pangalan ng Makabayan Coalition ang kanilang senatorial slate para sa 2025 polls.
Dahil dito ay umabot na sa 10 mula sa dating pito ang bilang ng kanilang kandidato.
Sa programa sa Liwasang Bonifacio sa Maynila, inilahad ng koalisyon na sina Pagkakaisa ng mga Samahan ng Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (Piston) chairman Mody Floranda, Urban poor group Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (Kadamay) member Mimi Doringo, at Jocelyn Andamo mula sa Filipino Nurses United ay kabilang na sa senatorial lineup.

Ayon kay Bayan Muna Chairman and Makabayan co-chairperson Neri Colmenares, inirerepsenta ng slate ang kanilang “unwavering dedication to the principles of nationalism, democracy, and social justice.”
“Our candidates are not just leaders but are true advocates for the Filipino people, ready to push for policies that uplift the oppressed and marginalized sectors of our society,” saad sa pahayag.
“As we introduce these stalwarts of change, we reaffirm our commitment to the struggle for a truly sovereign and democratic nation. Let us draw inspiration from our heroes and continue their legacy in our fight for freedom and justice,” dagdag pa niya. RNT/JGC
